Crippled Symmetries at the Hay Festival Arequipa 2026 in Peru presents a journey through sound, resonance, and transformation alongside a workshop and Sound Massages after Pascal Battus and Thierry Madiot.
In cooperation with Retama – the first Peruvian collective of women composers of contemporary music, Crippled Symmetries presents four commissioned works that bring indigenous ritual and musical traditions into contemporary artistic contexts.
The international co-production between musicians and composers from Ecuador, Argentina, Colombia and Germany, and Ensemble KNM Berlin focuses on transformation and renewal, featuring two new works by Ana González Gamboa and Ana María Rodríguez, concerts, workshops, open rehearsals, live streams, and recordings.
